Returns

Before you begin your return, please see our size guide for activewear fits, especially if you feel like your items are too small. Firmness is completely normal in our activewear due to the type of fabric we use and this will soften slightly with wear. For additional support, please email hello@amplefolk.com if you would like some support from our Fit Experts who can provide you with extra guidance and education on our unique product before you exchange or return.

Please also familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions around our returns policy listed below on this page before beginning your return. Please note that we offer a store credit only for change-of-mind returns. In the rare case that your item is faulty, please lodge via email (hello@amplefolk.com) and our friendly customer service team will be in touch to assist with next steps. 

THE POLICY

All change-of-mind returns will be accepted for online store credit. You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to lodge a return for credit request. If you'd prefer a different size, you are able to lodge your return and you will receive a credit note. You are able to use that credit note to purchase the required alternative size. All returned items must be returned in as-received condition, unworn, unwashed, with swing tags in place. Please ensure to wear appropriate undergarments while trying on activewear.

In the rare chance a customer receives a faulty or incorrect item, please use our returns portal to submit images and details of the fault or the item you did receive. You can also email our team at hello@amplefolk.com with the subject line Faulty/Incorrect Item - Order # XXX and your order number. We will resolve the issue with a replacement, refund or repair in line with Australian Consumer Legislation.

STORE CREDIT

We offer store credit notes if you wish to return your item for a better fit or because you have simply changed your mind. Our store credit notes have no expiry date and can be used for a similar product or for a completely different style. At this point in time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you are wanting to do this, please select use your store credit to purchase your preferred product from our online store directly.

RETURN SHIPPING

The cost of sending back the item/s is yours. Please ensure that your item/s are placed neatly, secured and properly sealed within a postbag. Shipping costs are non-refundable by Amplefolk.  A flat fee of $15 for all exchanges will be deducted from your issued credit note once the return has been received.

Amplefolk customer support will supply you with a return post label to be printed and attached to your parcel by you. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY RETURN TO BE PROCESSED?

Once your return arrives at Amplefolk HQ, we to issue your store credit within three - five business days.


Returns Policy (Ts&Cs)

RETURNS & REFUNDS

All requests for return of goods for credit must be made via email hello@amplefolk.com within 30 days of original order. Timeframe will be extended during Christmas period. Returns must be in the original condition, unworn, with swing tags in place. There must be no sweat, makeup, deodorant, fake tan or marks of any kind. We reserve the right to reject and return your item if these conditions are not met. Amplefolk does not accept returns for refunds unless the item is faulty and approved by our quality control team. 

Items purchased on sale (including marked down, clearance or sample/second quality items) are final and will not be accepted for return.

As an Australian business, we are regulated by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). The Australian Consumer Law has consumer guarantees to ensure that, as a consumer, you are receiving a product that is not faulty, is inline with its description and be fit for purchase. The ACCC also highlight that the grounds in which a consumer is eligible for a refund. These reasons do not apply if you have received what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it. We are able to offer you a store credit if you wish to return your goods to us in as-received condition (outlined above), however do not offer refunds unless it's on the rare occasion that the product is received faulty. Prices are subject to change without notice.

FIT CONSULTATIONS

The Customer Service team at Amplefolk Pty Ltd do their best to ensure that they can accurately assist you to find your best size in our products. However, due to variation in the way that measurements are taken, the uniqueness of our bodies and each person's fit preference, we can not guarantee finding your perfect size. Our team are experienced and trained on our products and have had great success in assisting many different folk of all shapes and sizes in finding their perfect fit.

COLOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

Although Amplefolk Pty Ltd has taken great care to reproduce the colours presented as accurately as possible, colours may vary from monitor to monitor. The colours produced within this website may not match the actual fabric colours. Appearance of fabric colours in imagery are affected by many factors, including fabric type, photography lighting and varied monitor lighting.

FAULTY GOODS

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a short description of the fault along with a minimum of two photos of the fault. Rest assured, we will work to resolve your enquiry with priority with either a replacement, repair or refund.

CUSTOMS AND DUTIES

Any local government import and duties incurred are the responsibility of the recipient. Please understand that this is not within our control and we cannot pre-pay these taxes. We advise contacting your local customs office to find out if/and how much these taxes may be.

If you choose to refuse a shipment or a parcel is returned to sender, Amplefolk Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge a fee to cover the costs incurred of shipping and merchant fees.

Please note that Amplefolk Pty Ltd offers Delivered At Place (DAP) or delivered duty unpaid (DDU) for our customers in the United Kingdom. As such, we take responsibility for shipping the product only and it is your responsibility as the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees upon receiving your goods. Please keep this in mind when purchasing from us and ensure that these charges are factored into your overall product spend. Please note that items which are returned to us as a result of duties not being paid will be refunded minus any merchant, shipping and handling fees associated.

Discount code only available to new subscribers via amplefolk.com newsletter popup. Discount code must be applied at checkout. Discount cannot be redeemed for cash or credit. No other promotions, discounts or offers to be used in conjunction with. One code per new subscriber.    

BUNDLE & SAVE

Each bundle deal applies to selected products only. Bundle promotions and deals last for a given period and are subject to change without notice. In order for the discount to apply, you must add the required number of the selected styles and add necessary items to cart. The discount will automatically be applied to your cart. Discount cannot be redeemed for cash or credit. Discount is not applicable/redeemable for past orders.
